my finished piece

i got so into my wrk that i forgot to screen shot my process which isn't good so al just tell you what i did. i took screen shot of sections of short film and i then i used the pen tool and traced the figures so that i had the right proportions and the movements looked real.

my own wrk kinda reminds me of this ad

my final product-the build up

i shot some films that i screen shot from to get the correct proportions for my animation.
this an example

more planning

i sectioned my work in the story boards to 18 sections. i then had to work out how long the sections were going to be and how many frames were needed in each section. for instants if there were two seconds there would be 24 frames needed to make it work as i was working to 12 frames per second.

story board

story board ideas

i have started to generate ideas that i have loosely storyboarded in my sketch book for what might happen in my animation.

1. may first idea is to have a single clueless police officer stood on his own then having a group of lads that eventual move towards the police officer and it goes black. then it shows the police officers face and then zooms out to show him tied up over a fire with all the lads huddled round shouting at him.

2. my second idea is very similar. the only difference is that the police officer is unaware of the lad until they materialise before him through the darkness.
